Sun+ solar tracker installation: planning and commissioning
Prepare a Sun+ installation with the right site information, foundation design, assembly documentation and electrical commissioning responsibilities.

This overview helps project owners and installers organise a Sun+ installation. It complements the current manufacturer instructions; it is not a substitute for the approved assembly and electrical procedures.
Confirm the configuration before delivery
Identify the tracker version, module references, inverter and connection arrangement. Confirm mechanical and electrical compatibility before ordering. The layout must include module movement, service access, shading and nearby services.
Permissions and network arrangements are separate checks. Use the project preparation checklist to collect the information required locally.
Prepare the foundation and work area
Use the approved foundation design for the site and configuration. Check soil conditions, load assumptions, setting-out information and access for delivery and handling. Do not copy concrete quantities or dimensions from another installation.
Agree who is responsible for foundation acceptance and how the installation team receives the relevant records.
Organise mechanical and electrical work
Follow the current assembly instructions, specified tools and handling arrangements. Mechanical installation, module mounting, cabling, protection and connection each require the appropriate competence.
Moving components and electrical equipment introduce hazards that must be controlled through the installer’s procedures. Keep unqualified people away from the work area.
Commission and hand over
Commissioning should verify the installed configuration, tracking parameters, movement and specified safety functions. Electrical checks and any network conditions must also be completed by the responsible professionals.
Give the operator the equipment documents, test records, reporting contacts and maintenance plan. Training and support should be agreed in the project scope rather than assumed.
Compare the right family
Sun+ is intended for suitable residential grounds. For commercial or agricultural settings, review SunPro and Terra alongside Sun+ before settling on the configuration.
